Job summary

AECOM in Adelaide is seeking an Associate Director (Mechanical) to lead and grow the Building Services team, delivering complex, multi-disciplinary projects across sectors such as health, defence, transport and commercial.

You will mentor engineers, drive quality and client relationships, and grow the Adelaide capability within our national Building Engineering group, leveraging 15+ years of building services experience and Chartered status (CPEng).

Qualifications

• 15+ years’ experience in building services consultancy or contracting design.
• Chartered status (CPEng) essential, other registrations highly regarded.
• Leadership in technical design and multi-disciplinary project delivery.
• Knowledge of building services systems and standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of complex, multi-disciplinary projects across sectors such as health, defence, transport, commercial, aviation, data-centre or other major building sectors around NSW/ACT.
• Lead mechanical and multidiscipline building services design and end-to-end project delivery, including oversight of technical quality and design management.
• Build and maintain client relationships to support business development and secure future work.
• Mentor junior engineers and ensure high-quality design documentation and project delivery.
• Grow Adelaide building services team as part of the national Building Engineering team.
