Shift is a cloud-focused security partner helping Australian SMEs. This role offers hands-on ownership of infrastructure and security, learning directly from engineers in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

You’ll contribute to secure design, deployment, and testing across Shift’s apps, while developing skills in cloud platforms, CI/CD tooling, and security controls. The position supports hybrid work with a strong focus on real-world ownership.

Qualificações

• 1-2 years in a cloud infrastructure or security role or equivalent
• Awareness of security concepts (IAM, WAF, vulnerability management)
• Exposure to at least one scripting or programming language
• Experience with Azure or AWS (IaaS/PaaS)
• Familiarity with CI/CD tooling such as GitHub Enterprise, GitOps or Octopus Deploy

Responsabilidades

• Support the design, build and integration of security solutions across Shift's applications and tooling
• Help maintain and improve the secure infrastructure underlying Shift Online, Shift Trade, Shift Partner and TM Vault
• Get hands-on with automated deployment pipelines and DevOps best practices
• Assist with security testing and vulnerability scanning
• Build your radar for current security threats, vulnerabilities and industry trends
• Be the first line of support for infrastructure requests: triaging and troubleshooting
