Job summary

Harwell Consulting in Brisbane is seeking a Lawyer or Associate to join a busy M&A driven corporate team. You’ll work closely with partners on a steady flow of transactional matters, including private M&A for buyers and sellers, joint ventures, restructures and investments.

This is not a junior-only environment; you’ll run matters with real autonomy and help develop the lawyers coming up behind you, with direct partner mentoring and a clear path to progression.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years PAE in corporate or M&A (more senior applicants welcome).
• Mid-market transaction experience from a mid-tier or top-tier firm.
• Confident in due diligence and drafting transaction documents.
• Motivated to specialise and build a career in M&A.

Responsibilities

• Work with partners on private M&A and advisory work for buyers and sellers.
• Handle joint ventures, restructures and investments.
• Draft and negotiate general corporate advisory and transaction documents.

My client is an independent, Australian-owned firm with a national platform and a strong reputation in mid-market M&A. Their Brisbane corporate practice is busy and growing, and they're adding a Lawyer or Associate to the team.

About the role
