Job summary

Group 10 Consulting is seeking an Associate Commercial Consultant to join our ICT procurement and vendor management practice, supporting Commonwealth Government clients from Canberra. This entry‑level role is ideal for someone starting in procurement, contract management or commercial career who wants hands‑on ICT sourcing experience.

You’ll work alongside experienced consultants on day‑to‑day procurement activities across software, hardware, cloud and professional services procurements,

Qualifications

• Some experience in procurement, contracts, administration, vendor management or commercial support
• Interest in ICT procurement and technology sourcing
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Procurement qualifications or willingness to develop in this area highly regarded

Responsibilities

• Supporting ICT procurement activities across RFQs, RFTs and panel sourcing processes
• Liaising with ICT vendors to obtain quotes and procurement information
• Preparing procurement and contract documentation
• Assisting with vendor onboarding and contract administration activities
• Maintaining procurement records, trackers and documentation
• Supporting evaluation activities and stakeholder coordination
• Working closely with senior consultants, ITAM specialists and technical teams
• Assisting with compliance and reporting activities

We are looking for motivated Associate Commercial Consultants to join our growing ICT procurement and vendor management practice supporting Commonwealth Government clients.

This role is ideal for someone early in their procurement, contract management or commercial career who wants to build hands-on experience in ICT sourcing and vendor management within Federal Government environments.

You’ll work alongside experienced Commercial Consultants and Vendor Managers supporting day-to-day procurement activities across software, hardware, cloud and professional services procurements.

What you’ll be doing

SECURITY REQUIREMENTS

This role requires Australian Citizenship and the ideally a Federal Government Security Clearance. Preference may be given to applicants with an active clearance.
