Job summary

Autobarn Queensland is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead day-to-day operations, coach a customer‑focused team and drive sales performance.

You will work closely with the Store Manager, promote products, manage stock and inventory, and uphold a safe, well‑run environment while delivering excellent service.

This role offers hands‑on leadership, on-the-floor development opportunities and the chance to grow with a trusted automotive retail brand in a dynamic market.

Qualifications

• Experience in a retail leadership or assistant management role
• Excellent customer service skills with a proven ability to drive sales and achieve KPIs
• Ability to coach and motivate a team
• Exposure to inventory, stock management and store operations
• Experience in retail or automotive industry (advantageous but not essential)
• A positive, hands‑on attitude and a willingness to keep learning

Responsibilities

• Creating a safe, positive and well‑run store environment
• Drivingsales by promoting products, upselling, and meeting sales targets
• Assisting customers with automotive parts and accessories advice
• Coaching, motivating and developing team members on theshop floor
• Assisting with inventory, stock control and deliveries
• Supporting the Store Manager in day‑to‑day operational leadership
• Takingresponsibility for the store in the absence of the Store Manager
