Job summary

Early Settler is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for the Mornington store to lead a dynamic retail team and drive store performance. You will collaborate with the Store Manager to deliver an exceptional customer experience and achieve sales targets.

The role requires a strong retail background, leadership ability, and a passion for home styling. You will be involved in day-to-day operations, rostering, and staff development while embodying Early Settler values.

Qualifications

• 2-3+ years experience in retail sales with a proven track record of achieving targets.
• Strong commercial acumen and a results-driven mindset.
• Ability to coach, guide and motivate teams to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Must be physically capable of regular manual handling of products.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Store Manager to drive sales performance and achieve targets through effective selling of merchandise.
• Work with customers to realise their home vision with styling solutions, upsell and cross-sell as needed.
• Coach and guide the retail sales team to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve targets.
• Support day-to-day store operations including rostering, admin tasks, and onboarding new team members.
• Develop and implement strategies to maximise sales and customer service targets.
