The Athlete’s Foot Australia & New Zealand is seeking an Assistant Manager for the Broadway store to lead a fast-paced team and deliver exceptional customer service using MyFit 3D technology. You will work with the Store Manager to drive store performance and growth while upholding brand standards.

This role focuses on coaching staff, managing rosters, and maintaining stock/visual merchandising, with opportunities for leadership development and career progression.

Qualifications

• Experience as Assistant Store Manager or similar in a fast-paced retail environment.

As Assistant Store Manager, You’ll

• Lead by example to deliver outstanding customer service, utilising our advanced MyFit 3D technology.
• Motivate and inspire your team to consistently exceed sales targets and KPIs.
• Monitor team performance and proactively identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
• Collaborate with the Store Manager to effectively manage rosters and control wage spend within company guidelines.
• Support daily store operations, ensuring high standards in store presentation, visual merchandising, and stock management.
• Champion team training, development, and succession planning to build a strong, skilled workforce.
• Foster community engagement through sporting partnerships and healthcare professional relationships.
• Ensure compliance with OH&S requirements in line with national and state regulations.

Skills And Experience

• Previous experience as an Assistant Store Manager or senior casual Sales Assistant, Key Holder, Supervisor or 3IC in a fast-paced retail environment
• A results-driven, ‘Make it Happen’ mindset
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate a team
• Proven success in meeting KPIs and sales targets
• Solid understanding of stock control and visual merchandising best practices
