Job summary

Woolworths Ltd. in Sydney is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead day-to-day store operations, coach frontline teams and deliver a consistently great shopping experience for our customers.

You will partner with Store, Grocery, Online and Nightfill managers to prioritise safety, staffing and customer service, develop your leadership strengths and help growth-ready team members prepare for future store management roles.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate an unwavering focus on customer satisfaction by enabling a positive whole of store shopping experience through Everyday ACTs - Acknowledge, Care & Thank
• Make safety a top priority for team and customers by ensuring correct processes are followed in store
• Support a culture of collaboration within departments to create a great experience for our team members and ensure team have meaningful hours
• Support the development of the wider stores team and leaders to unlock their potential so that they can achieve their career goals at Woolies
• Use data to deeply understand the needs of customers to ensure priorities relevant to your store are prioritised to improve both team and customer experience
• Deliver key performance metrics and targets across the Grocery, Online and Nightfill departments by working with the Department Managers to ensure appropriate resourcing and that team are correctly trained and right process are followed
• Supports strong community partnerships to bring value and connection to the wider community
• Acts on and supports the Sustainability Plan to contribute to creating a better tomorrow for everyone
