You will lead a team of associates, manage daily operations, oversee scheduling, inventory and visual merchandising, and contribute to profitable performance while upholding customer experience.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with the Store Manager to reach sales targets and KPIs by guiding the sales team.
• Assist in recruiting, training and developing associates to uphold brand standards.
• Contribute to strategies to drive foot traffic, maximize sales and profitability.
• Ensure visual merchandising aligns with GUESS aesthetics and showcases products well.
• Oversee inventory processes including stock, transfers and audits.
• Assist with scheduling, payroll, and adherence to company policies.

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Guess DFO Canberra.

Position Overview:

As the Assistant Store Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Store Manager in driving sales, delivering exceptional customer service, and upholding the brand's image and standards. You will assist in leading a team of passionate associates, ensuring operational excellence, and fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Store Manager to achieve sales targets and KPIs by providing leadership and guidance to the sales team.
• Assist in recruiting, training, and developing associates to deliver exceptional customer service and uphold brand standards.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of strategies to drive traffic, maximise sales, and optimise profitability.
• Ensure the store's visual merchandising standards align with GUESS's aesthetic and showcase our products effectively.
• Oversee inventory management processes, including stock replenishment, transfers, and regular audits.
• Assist in managing operational aspects such as scheduling, payroll, and adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, resolving any team conflicts or issues effectively.
• Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities, providing insights to support strategic decision-making.

About you

• Previous retail management experience, preferably in fashion or apparel, with a proven track record of success.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, inspire, and develop a high-performing team.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
• A passion for fashion and a keen understanding of current trends and consumer preferences.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
