Job summary

Guzman y Gomez Mexican Kitchen in Ipswich is seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager to support the Restaurant Manager with daily operations, guide the team through busy service, and help manage inventory and finances.

You will lead crew training, elevate the guest experience, and drive KPI performance while promoting a safe, inclusive workplace. This role offers a clear path to restaurant leadership and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of restaurant supervisory or management experience preferred
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Guest-focused mindset with the ability to handle fast-paced service
• Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive
• Comfortable with POS systems and basic reporting
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Food Handler and/or Alcohol Server Certification (or willing to obtain)
