Job summary

Brisbane Catholic Education is seeking an Assistant Principal Administration to provide strategic leadership for teaching and learning across the school in Queensland. You will work with the Principal and senior leaders to implement curriculum, evidence-informed pedagogy, assessment and school-wide improvement.

Strong collaboration, data-driven decision making and a commitment to Catholic identity are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience as Assistant Principal, Assistant Principal Religious Education, Deputy Principal, Head of Campus or Principal, or a senior role providing support and leadership to Catholic schools.
• Experience in teaching, and leading the teaching of, religious education.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation, review and evaluation of curriculum across the school.
• Promote and embed evidence-informed pedagogical practices aligned with BCE Model of Pedagogy.
• Guide teachers in planning, assessment, moderation and reporting practices.
• Lead the analysis and use of student achievement and engagement data to inform improvement strategies.
• Facilitate professional learning, coaching and mentoring to build teacher capability.
• Oversee curriculum compliance, curriculum planning processes and whole-school academic improvement initiatives.
• Support inclusive curriculum practices that enable all learners to achieve success.
• Work collaboratively with the Assistant Principal Administration (Operations) to ensure curriculum priorities are supported by effective organisational systems and resource allocation.
• Contribute to the strategic leadership and Catholic identity of the school.
