About the Opportunity

Working with Savills’ Asset Management team in Adelaide, this is a great opportunity to join a collaborative and successful unit as an Assistant Operations Manager. Reporting to the Senior Operations Manager, you will be based on site at a large retail / mixed‑use complex in the CBD, supporting the Facilities Management team by providing technical expertise and ensuring Savills’ resources deliver outstanding on‑site outcomes for clients and the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee repair, maintenance, and compliance of building services, including fire systems, mechanical, and energy management systems.
  • Manage and liaise with service contractors to ensure quality servicing, compliance, and risk mitigation.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot operational issues promptly, ensuring safe and efficient system performance.
  • Ensure adherence to legislative requirements, safety protocols, and essential service documentation.
  • Maintain and update quality systems to ensure compliance with established procedures and standards.
  • Assist with CAPEX projects, tenancy fit‑outs / defits, and manage invoices and purchase orders.
  • Identify and address potential hazards or equipment failures to minimize liability and ensure public safety.
