Job summary

GPC Asia Pacific (APAC) in Melbourne is seeking a Category Coordinator to support category plans and merchandise activity. You will help ensure catalogue deadlines are met, conduct new product research, and analyse data to drive timely decision-making.

The role offers data-driven responsibilities, strong stakeholder collaboration, and a pathway in a growing automotive aftermarket group. A background in retail or FMCG is desirable and Excel proficiency is essential.

Qualifications

• Category, merchandise or buying exposure in retail or FMCG.
• Strong communication and stakeholder relationship skills.
• Excellent data analysis and Excel/MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Meet business objectives in relation to category plans.
• Assist in ensuring catalogue deadlines are met.
• Conduct new product research and data review.
• Prepare reports and present findings to stakeholders.
• Provide general administration support for the category.
• Build internal and external stakeholder relationships.
