Job summary

Johnson & Johnson in Sydney is seeking an Assistant Manager, Regulatory Affairs ANZ to lead regulatory activities across Australia and New Zealand. You will ensure products meet market legislation, mentor a team of regulatory professionals, and engage regulators to influence evolving regulations.

You will join a high‑performing group focused on innovative medical devices and MedTech, with opportunities for broad cross‑functional impact and global collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline with 6-8 years' related experience, ideally in medical devices.
• Expert knowledge of regional government regulations and regulatory strategies.
• Strong business acumen with ability to influence senior leaders, regulators and industry.

Responsibilities

• Direct regulatory activities across Australia and New Zealand, including post‑marketing lifecycle management.
• Lead regulatory strategies and submissions to health authorities.
• Mentor a regulatory team and influence policy with regulators and trade associations.
• Develop and manage department budget and key leadership initiatives.
• Ensure ongoing post-market compliance and governance across product portfolios.
