Endeavour Group's Norwood Hotel in Norwood, Adelaide, is hiring an Assistant Manager to keep the pub buzzing and welcomed by locals. The role leads the team, ensures safe operations, and upholds the high-energy, guest‑focused service the venue is known for.

The base salary is 80,000 AUD plus super, with a bonus scheme and group discounts across ALH Hotels and Endeavour brands. Applicants should have RSA/RSG and RP badges and be ready to lead on a busy, hands‑on hospitality floor.

Formación

• Hands-on role with manual handling of stock, kegs and deliveries (physical tasks).
• Bar/bistro/gaming room experience with supervisory exposure.
• RSA, RSG and RP badges to meet state requirements.
• Confident, proud, and people-oriented to be the pub face when management is away.

About the Role

Assistant Manager | Norwood Hotel

We’re on the hunt for our next Assistant Manager to help keep theNorwood Hotelbuzzing and loved by the locals.

Situated in the heart of Norwood just 10 minutes from Adelaide’s CBD,The Norwood Hotelis a heritage-listed local institution with over a century of history. Anchored right next to Norwood Oval, the venue features modern Australian dining, live local music, and the iconic Finn MacCool’s Irish Pub. From high-volume game day crowds to casual family dinners, it remains one of the area's premier hospitality destinations.

A day in the life of an Assistant Manager:

• Get to know the locals so well they think you’re part of the crew
• Support the Publican to keep the pub running smoothly, safely, and with a great vibe
• Learn the ropes of being a Publican while leading a team of absolute hospo legends
• Handle hiccups before they turn into headaches
• Bring the energy, the service, and the smiles every single shift

Inherent requirements:

• This is a hands-on role that involves manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g. moving stock, kegs, and deliveries). Applicants must have the ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.

About you:

• You’ve been around the bar, bistro, or gaming room block, and maybe already done some supervising
• You’ve learned from great managers and now you’re ready to step up
• You’ve got the confidence, pride, and people skills to be the face of the pub when the boss is away
• You’ve got a current RSA, RSG and RP Badgeas per state requirements
