Job summary

PKF Australia - Business Advisors in Melbourne seeks an Assistant Manager/Manager (Transfer Pricing) to address the transfer pricing consulting and compliance needs of clients ranging from SMEs to multinationals.

Reporting to Directors and Partners, the role involves managing engagements, reviewing analyses, mentoring staff and liaising with the ATO and other authorities to navigate TP compliance.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business, Commerce or Law or Masters of Tax.
• CA qualification or Tax Institute accreditation.
• 5+ years transfer pricing or tax consulting experience.

Responsibilities

• Applying complex transfer pricing concepts to resolve client challenges.
• Managing engagements and day-to-day client relationships.
• Reviewing transfer pricing analyses/documents prepared by team members.
• Supporting Partners with complex engagements, including TP reviews, audits and APAs with tax authorities.
• Participating in meetings with clients and tax authorities.
• Mentoring, training and developing team members.

The Transfer Pricing Assistant Manager/Manager reports to Directors and Partners and is primarily responsible for addressing the transfer pricing consulting and compliance needs of our clients, which range from SME businesses to multinational groups.

Our Transfer Pricing team, a division within our Tax service, is seeking enthusiastic professionals with a passion for Transfer Pricing. These roles involve advising clients on business restructures, planning for new international projects, navigating tax authority reviews, and managing compliance obligations.

Key responsibilities

• Applying complex transfer pricing concepts and business/economic/financial knowledge to resolve client challenges
• Managing engagements and the day-to-day client relationship
• Reviewing transfer pricing analysis/documents/models prepared by team members
• Supporting Partners with complex engagements, including transfer pricing reviews, audits and Advance Pricing Arrangements with the ATO and other tax authorities
• Participating in meetings with clients and tax authorities
• Mentoring, training and developing team members
