Job summary

ALH Hotels at the Horse & Jockey Hotel, Warwick, is seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Manager to run the floor in a high-volume pub. You will oversee a busy team, ensure safety and a lively atmosphere, and learn the ropes of becoming a Publican while delivering gold-class country hospitality.

Ideal candidates will have prior bar, bistro, or gaming room exposure and a track record in supervising. RSA/RSG, RMLV and Approved Managers Licence are essential per state rules, with great career growth

Qualifications

• Requires RSA/RSG, RMLV and Approved Managers Licence as per state requirements.
• Experience in hospitality supervision or running a floor environment is preferred.
• Strong people skills and ability to lead a team in a high-volume pub setting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily pub floor operations and staff to maintain high energy and exceptional service.
• Support Publican in smooth, safe operation and positive venue vibe across shifts.
• Lead a team of hospitality staff and handle issues before they escalate.
• Represent the pub during the boss's absence with confidence and professionalism.
• Drive energy, service and smiles on every shift.
