Position Summary

We are now seeking a passionate and experienced Event Operations Assistant Manager and Supervisor to help us lead our dynamic team in delivering unforgettable moments in our unique and intimate event spaces.

The Role
  • Lead and inspire the team to deliver seamless, upscale guest experiences across all event-related services.
  • Oversee daily operations, ensuring strict adherence to service standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Coordinate event set‑up, logistics, and breakdown, ensuring all arrangements align with client specifications and hotel standards.
  • Oversee and manage the daily operations of the department and ensure that all team members comply with service standards.
  • Liaise with different departments and external vendors, monitoring the service quality of external companies and partners (Audiovisual, Florist, Decorator, etc.).
  • Establish and maintain records of breakage, feedback and suggestions for inventory and event management purposes.
  • Effectively communicate and update all team members on any changes to ensure guests receive up‑to‑date information.
  • Monitor team members’ performance and provide effective feedback for improvements and recognition.
  • Conduct theoretical, formal and practical (on‑the‑job) training for all operational staff.
  • Analyze guest feedback from direct feedback, comment cards or online reviews and provide strategic direction to continuously improve overall rating.
Talent Profile
  • Tertiary education, specializing in beverage service/events management is an advantage.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with restaurant systems such as Symphony or Seven Rooms.
  • Exceptional communication skills paired with a passion for guest relations.
  • Strong command of written and spoken English.
  • Available to work on a rotating roster (early mornings, weekends, and public holidays) across a 7‑day operation.
  • Valid working rights in Australia.
