Amart in Cairns is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager on the sales floor, coach the team, and deliver outstanding customer experiences. You’ll lead from the front with customers, drive sales, and help grow team capability in a fast-paced environment.

You’ll implement daily targets, manage rosters, maintain visual standards, and use in-store systems to ensure exceptional service, with ongoing training and a commitment to growth within Australia’s leading furniture

ABOUT THE ROLE

As an Assistant Store Manager, you’ll support the Store Manager in leading the sales floor and growing team capability. You’ll be hands‑on with customers, while also coaching, motivating and guiding the team to deliver amazing results and experiences every day.

In this role, you will:

• Lead from the front on the store floor, directly working with customers and inspiring their home styling choices.
• Coach and support Sales Team Members to build confidence, product knowledge and sales capability.
• Help drive store performance through clear targets, daily focus and strong customer outcomes.
• Partner with the Store Manager to manage priorities, rosters and smooth day‑to‑day operations.
• Maintain high visual merchandising standards and a safe, welcoming store environment.
• Use in-store systems to support the sales journey and customer follow‑up.
