ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Logistics & Documentation Manager to support our export and logistics operations teams. This role is a hands-on role where you will be actively involved in the day-to-day export and logistic operations while also supporting team leadership, training, stakeholder coordination, and continuous improvement initiatives.
You will work closely with the Logistics & Documentation Manager to ensure accurate, compliant, and timely export documentation and logistics activities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
This role is responsible for:
Actively prepare, review, and process export and logistics documentation as required to support daily operations.
Assist with managing day-to-day activities of the Export Documentation team while staying hands on in operations.
Support workload planning, task allocation, and achievement of operational KPIs.
Provide coaching, guidance, and hands-on support to team members.
Support and participate in initiatives to streamline logistics and export documentation processes.
Review workflows to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement or automation.
Assist in maintaining and updating standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Ensure all documentation and operational activities comply with export, customs, regulatory, and audit requirements.
Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, customers, and internal teams to ensure smooth coordination of export and logistics activities.
Act as a key point of contact for day-to-day operational matters and assist in resolving escalated issues.
Support strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
