As an integral member of the leadership team, you will help develop, empower, and motivate our team while ensuring exceptional guest service at every touchpoint. Your ability to lead with care, professionalism, and confidence will be essential in creating memorable moments.

Located in Melbourne’s vibrant inner-north, we are a leading conference venue and leisure destination offering contemporary accommodation, stylish dining, and versatile event spaces in the heart of Preston. With 383 guest rooms, 13 conference and event venues, and two on‑site dining outlets, our property caters to both corporate and leisure clients.

Easily accessible via the 86 tram and Mernda train line—both within walking distance—and with over 400 on‑site parking spaces, our property is ideally positioned. We pride ourselves on delivering professional service, memorable experiences, and flexible solutions to meet the evolving needs of our diverse clientele.

Job Description
  • Supporting the Front Office Manager in daily operations, team leadership, and departmental coordination.
  • Managing day‑to‑day front desk activities including check‑ins/outs, loyalty sign‑ups, reporting, and guest support.
  • Supervising, training, onboarding, and developing the front office team to deliver consistently outstanding service.
  • Proactively resolving guest issues with empathy and professionalism, driving loyalty and meaningful guest experiences.
  • Monitoring and reporting on key performance metrics while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of Front Office procedures, service standards, and guest experience projects.
  • Acting independently on all matters relating to guest and team safety in the absence of senior management.
  • Ensuring effective management of emergency situations by following established hotel procedures and protocols.
  • Fostering a welcoming, inclusive, and engaging environment for both guests and team members.
Qualifications
  • Previous hospitality experience in a similar capacity.
  • Solid leadership capability with demonstrated success training, mentoring, and motivating a team.
  • Strong knowledge of hotel Front Office procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively.
  • Strong conflict‑resolution and negotiation skills, with the confidence to act independently when required.
  • Flexibility to work a rotating roster.
  • RSA and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain before commencement).
  • Full Australian work rights.
