Job summary

Voyages Indigenous Tourism Australia seeks an Assistant Food & Beverage Manager - Indoor Dining to live and work onsite at Ayers Rock Resort, Yulara, NT. You will oversee multiple venues including Ilkari Restaurant, Walpa Bar, Pira Pool Bar & In-Room Dining, ensuring high standards and financial performance.

The role requires 5 years in large scale F&B, hospitality certification, and RSA. Expect exciting incentives, relocation support up to $700, and access to staff facilities in a 5-star

Qualifications

• 5 years exposure to a large scale Food & Beverage operation.
• Hospitality Management Certificate or equivalent.
• RSA certification.
• Valid liquor license or nominated within Australia (preferred but not essential).
• Strategic understanding of F&B outlets and ability to perform at all levels of an F&B operational team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily management of staff in accordance with guidelines set down by the Food & Beverage Manager and Voyages policy.
• Ensure that strategies and practices are in place to facilitate the efficient and effective staffing of the department to achieve financial and service quality targets.
• Support and promote training throughout the Zone ensuring all compliance, skills, development, and mandatory training are attended by staff as required.
• Uphold purchasing and stock control systems through stock control, involvement in stock take preparation and audits, and analysis of stock variance reports.
