Job summary

CopRice Leeton is seeking two permanent full-time Assistant Extruder Operators to join our extrusion team. You will be responsible for the efficient and safe operation of the Extruder and related equipment to meet daily production targets.

The role requires a current Australian driver’s licence, forklift licence (or willingness to obtain one), good mechanical aptitude and the ability to handle physical tasks across shifts.

Qualifications

• Current Australian Driver's Licence is required.
• Forklift licence essential, or willingness to obtain one.
• Mechanical aptitude will be assessed.
• Shifts involve lifting, reaching, standing, stooping and bending.
• Ability to learn new processes quickly and troubleshoot while maintaining quality.
• Strong verbal and written communication with internal customers/team members.

Responsibilities

• Follow production plans and adjust to changes in product demand and ingredient supply.
• Ensure plant and equipment are operated and maintained to standard.
• Ensure food safety compliance of ingredients and finished products.
