G8 Education Heatley Townsville seeks an experienced Assistant Educator with an ACECQA approved Certificate III or Diploma in Children’s Services. You will help create an outstanding learning environment for children aged 0–5 and support qualified educators in daily activities.

This part-time role (25 hours per week) offers above award wages, professional development via Wonder.LAB, staff discounts, and wellbeing programs within G8 Education.

Qualifications

• ACEQCA approved Certificate 3 or Diploma in Children’s Services.
• Understanding of EYLF and NQS.
• Experience as Educator in early childhood (0–5 years).
• Current Working with Children Check.

About Us

Our children enjoy delightful indoor and outdoor play areas, rooms equipped with the latest age-appropriate technology and learning resources, and a range of activities. At capacity our centre caters for up to 75 children with operating hours from 6am to 6pm. About You

• You will hold an ACECQA approved Certificate 3 or Diploma Qualification in Children’s Services
• An understanding of both the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
• Proven Educator experience within an Early childhood service (working with children 0-5 years)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• A current Working with Children Check
• First Aid certificate
