Job summary

Creative Garden Early Learning Centre Heathcote is seeking an experienced Diploma-qualified Educator to join our friendly team. You will help create a high-quality learning environment for children aged 0–5 years and support engaging activities.

This full-time permanent role is 38 hours per week. We value EYLF and NQS, offer development through G8 Education, and require WWCC and First Aid, plus strong communication and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Diploma qualification recognized by ACECQA in children's services.
• Understanding of EYLF and NQS.
• Experience as Educator in early childhood (0-5 years).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Current Working with Children Check and First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating a safe and engaging learning environment for children 0-5 years.
• Support delivery of age-appropriate activities and learning experiences.
• Contribute to daily routines and maintain records as required.

This role is Full-Time permanent working 38 hours per week

About Us

Our children enjoy delightful indoor and outdoor play areas, rooms equipped with the latest age-appropriate technology and learning resources, and a range of activities.

At capacity our centre caters for up to 56 children with operating hours from 7:30am-5:30pm and street parking in a quiet suburban area. The centre is located within 10 minutes walking distance to Heathcote train station and 2 minutes' walk from the bus stop.
We also have the privilege of having a cafe right next door!

About You

• You will hold an ACECQA approved DiplomaQualification in Children’s Services
• An understanding of both the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
• Proven Educator experience within an Early childhood service (working with children 0-5 years)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• A current Working with Children Check
• First Aid certificate
