The Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry invites applications for the role of Assistant Director - Internal Audit to lead complex audit engagements and shape the department’s assurance program across strategic, operational and governance areas.
You will supervise APS auditors, develop audit scopes and methodologies, provide authoritative advice to senior executives and the Audit and Risk Committee, and mentor capability development within the internal audit function.

As Assistant Director - Internal Audit you will provide leadership and expert advice in the delivery of the department’s internal audit, assurance and advisory program. The role is responsible for leading complex audit engagements, contributing to audit planning and strategy, supervising staff and supporting the effective operation of the department’s internal audit function.
