A leading Australian university in Adelaide is seeking an Assistant Director to oversee strategic initiatives and engage with stakeholders in health services research. The ideal candidate will possess postgraduate qualifications, proven research management experience, and strong communication skills. This part-time role offers a competitive salary of $144,266 - $152,903 p.a. plus 17% superannuation, with an emphasis on reconciliation and diversity.

Working under the direction of the Professor of Health Services and Epidemiology, the Assistant Director will oversee strategic initiatives, business development, and engagement with Alliance members and external stakeholders. The incumbent will develop and implement research strategies to establish the Alliance as a critical source for governments and other stakeholders for required research and development. They will support Alliance members by identifying opportunities for research that addresses national gaps in our understanding of how to care for older people, including investigator, government or other stakeholder‑initiated research. With evidence managing and or establishing a Research Institute or Research Centre, you can conduct research activities, whilst managing the development of research partnerships, along with projects, teams, resourcing, and budgets within the research space. Your high‑level interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, allow you to effectively build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders. You will also be able to demonstrate:
