Job summary

ANZUK Education is seeking an Assistant Director to join the leadership team at a modern centre in Melbourne's inner suburbs. This role blends hands‑on leadership across education and operations, mentoring educators and supporting daily management.

You will uphold EYLF and NQS standards, build strong relationships with families, and contribute to continuous improvement while fostering a positive, inclusive workplace culture.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor (ACECQA approved).
• Leadership experience in early learning.
• Strong knowledge of EYLF and NQF.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• WWCC, First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis.

Responsibilities

• Support daily operations and leadership.
• Act as Responsible Person when required.
• Mentor educators and strengthen educational practice.
• Lead reflective practice and improvement initiatives.
• Support compliance and quality standards.
• Build positive relationships with families and staff.
