Role

This is an exciting opportunity for emerging development professionals to work in a high-performing team delivering outcomes that will benefit the Victorian community both now and in the future.

Reporting to the Senior Development Manager, the Assistant Development Manager plays a vital role in supporting the broader team. Your key responsibilities will include :

Responsibilities
  • Assist with the collation of due diligence material for new project opportunities.
  • Assist with the preparation of detailed feasibility studies to analyse the financial performance of potential and current opportunities.
  • Work with the broader team to identify potential risk factors and opportunities.
  • Assist with preparation of internal and external reporting.
  • Assist with consultant procurements, progress claim assessment and processing.

Skills and experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in property development, civil engineering, project management, or similar discipline
  • Demonstrated experience working in a corporate organisation, ideally within property development, engineering, urban planning, project management, or similar.
  • Intermediate use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook.
  • Prior experience in project work and exposure to land development and medium density construction.
  • Some experience in the preparation and analysis of project programmes and financial feasibility studies, budgeting, and cost monitoring.
  • Previous experience in the preparation of documentation, letters, emails, and reports using clear, concise, and grammatically correct language.
  • Prior experience in the delivery of high-quality customer and stakeholder experiences.
