Job summary

Woolworths Group in Dubbo, NSW, is seeking an Assistant Department Manager to begin a leadership journey within our stores. You will learn key department operations and support day-to-day functions as you work closely with the store team to deliver a consistently excellent shopping experience.

You will role model Everyday ACTs to delight customers, prioritise safety, and collaborate across departments to drive positive outcomes while developing your own leadership style with the pathway provided

Qualifications

• Strong desire to learn department operations.
• Ability to engage and role model ways to delight customers through Everyday ACTs (Acknowledge, Care & Thank).
• Make safety a top priority by ensuring correct processes are followed in store.
• A developing awareness of your own leadership style and desire to grow into a future leader.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day department operations and execution of tasks.
• Support the Store Leadership Pathway development and training.
• Provide excellent customer service and resolve issues to ensure a great shopping experience.
• Collaborate with store colleagues to achieve store goals and maintain store standards.
• Uphold safety procedures and contribute to a safe work environment.
