Peak Childcare and Kindergarten is seeking a passionate Assistant Centre Manager to support the Centre Manager in daily operations and leadership of our service in Queensland. You will help build a positive team culture, mentor educators and ensure high-quality practice in line with EYLF, QKLG and NQS.

Responsibilities

• Support the Centre Manager in daily operations to ensure smooth running of all rooms.
• Collaborate with leadership to maintain a positive, high-performing team culture.
• Foster strong relationships with children, families, and the wider community.
• Support educators in delivering high-quality EYLF/QKLG/NQS-aligned programs.
• Mentor and coach educators in daily practice and responsibilities.
• Contribute to compliance with Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations, NQS and service policies.
• Support child safety practices and a safe, inclusive environment.
• Assist with rostering and day-to-day operational coordination.
• Engage with families and participate in continuous quality improvement.
