We are seeking an Assistant Business Manager to support leading our team in East Metro!
The Assistant Business Manager is essential for achieving our goal of making employment opportunities accessible for everyone. As the Assistant Business Manager, you will support the Business Manager to lead the ESA (East Metro) with portfolio responsibility in claims and other activities that support success in the team. Your passion for excellence will see you manage industry leading processes and structures.
Claims Management (70%)
- Prepare and take all claims and progress fees across the ESA in an accurate and timely manner
- Schedule and lead weekly claims meetings with relevant stakeholders i.e. JC, JSC, IEP, Central Claims, BM to maximise claims and build relationships
- Achieve outcomes and progress fees budget every month and maximise claim and retention rates
- Utilise a detailed claims plan for every claim to monitor and maximise the claims progress for all customers in employment
- Manage the full wage subsidy process post negotiation
- Providing support to employers where customers are working
- Ensure auto OS claims are matched with appropriate support and evidence
- Within 7 days call all employers of anchored customers where consent is granted to offer support, build relationships and plan wage subsidy and evidence activities including local IEP brokered employers. Maintain regular contact and support
Compliance and Leadership (25%)
- Adhere to all compliance requirements
- Move between all sites in your ESA to ensure an even Leadership spread
- Ensure Customer Centricity is displayed at all sites for all customers
- Support the BM with key site responsibilities including but not limited to conducting customer interviews, new registration commencement, arranging pop ups and other customer attraction activities, liaising with CEET
- Assist in leading Team daily buzz meetings
- Claims support on a permanent or temporary basis for other ESA’s or sites may be requested at any time
- Always behave in line with WISE Values
- Comply with WHS policies and procedures
- Deliver industry leading customer centricity to customers
- Support site growth by attending pop ups etc when required
Qualifications
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
- Demonstrate experience of achieving and exceeding Key Performance Indicators
- Hold or willing to obtain a Working with Children Check
- Driver’s License
- 2-3 years’ experience in service industries such as employment services; nursing; banking and finance; travel; hospitality; sales; retail and community services
- Current participation in WISE Employment's Emerging Leaders program
- Hold or are working toward relevant qualifications, for example Business Management, Community Services etc.
- Competent computer skills with the ability to learn and utilise new software and applications (ideally Microsoft 365)
