Kennards Hire in Port Hedland is seeking an experienced Assistant Branch Manager to join our team. This role leads daily operations, develops a high-performing team, and ensures service excellence Kennards Hire is known for.

You will work hands-on on the shop floor, coaching others, solving problems and supporting the Branch Manager to drive performance and continuous improvement, with a focus on safety and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in retail or operational management.
• Proven people management experience, including performance management, training and coaching.
• Outstanding customer service skills and the ability to role model high service standards.
• Experience confidently and positively managing customer complaints.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll work alongside the Branch Manager to lead the day-to-day operation of the branch, develop a high-performing team and deliver the level of service our customers know Kennards Hire for.

About the Role

As Assistant Branch Manager, you’ll play a key role in supporting the performance and success of the Port Hedland branch.
You’ll help lead and develop the team, keep the branch running safely and efficiently, and be highly visible with both our people and customers. You’ll be someone who enjoys being on the floor, solving problems, coaching others and stepping up to support the Branch Manager.

You’ll:
