Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a finance, AP or accounting role as an Assistant Accountant or similar.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills and competence with a large accounting application.
• Desire to commence or progress to CA / CPA qualification.

Responsibilities

• Perform key accounting tasks supporting QLD communities including balance sheet reconciliation.
• Assist with month-end and quarter-end processes, accruals, and prepayments.
• Support external audit processes and prepare statutory annual financial reports.

Skills

Experience in a finance, AP or accounting role

Microsoft Excel skills

Proactive and self-motivated approach

Ability to process a high volume of financial data

Education

Qualification in Accounting, Commerce or Finance
