Job summary

Pets Eternal Tranquillity in Darwin is seeking an Assistant to join our compassionate team in Berrimah. This part-time role will grow into full-time for the right person, supporting our operations in the animal aftercare industry and helping families during a difficult time.

You will handle daily office enquiries, bookings, reception tasks, pet records, and assist with pet cremations and transport. The role requires strong communication, physical ability to lift 25 kg, a full driving license

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact compassionately with animals and people.
• Ability to lift 25 kg and assist with animals of varying sizes.
• Reliable, detail-oriented and able to work in a team.
• Full driving licence (automatic) and police check required.
• Customer service experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day office enquiries and bookings.
• Provide compassionate support to pet owners and address enquiries professionally.
• Assist with pet cremations and related processes.
• Drive the company van for collections and returns.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across facilities.

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Assistant to join the team in Berrimah, NT. As an Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring our facilities operate smoothly whilst maintaining the highest standards of compassion for the animals in our care.
