Job summary

Hudson AU is seeking 2 x Asset Planners to help manage infrastructure asset data and capital renewals planning. You will validate condition and criticality inputs, build asset registers and work programs, and prepare clear recommendations to support risk-based decision making.

Qualifications

• Experience in asset planning, asset management, or maintenance/capital planning (infrastructure industry experience preferred).
• Strong data handling skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate clearly and build confidence in planning recommendations.
• Understanding of asset lifecycle planning concepts (renewals vs upgrades, risk-based prioritisation).

Responsibilities

• Contribute to development of wastewater asset management and planning activities including renewals and upgrades.
• Review and validate asset condition, criticality, and performance inputs.
• Support prioritisation of work activities using agreed risk/compliance/service frameworks.
• Develop and maintain planning data sets (e.g., asset registers, work programs, project scopes).
• Support preparation of planning reports, recommendations, and briefs for stakeholders.
• Coordinate with engineering, operations, and delivery teams to confirm assumptions and scope needs.
• Maintain alignment with relevant standards, safety, and regulatory requirements.
