Job summary

Agri Talent Pty is recruiting an Asset & Engineering Manager for a state-of-the-art beef processing facility in Tongala, VIC. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on reshaping the maintenance function, establishing preventive maintenance, and improving reliability.

You will report to the Plant Manager and collaborate with the Group Asset Manager to lift team performance across multiple shifts. The role emphasizes leading change, implementing new CMMS processes, and managing budgets and

Qualifications

• Hands-on maintenance experience in FMCG or food processing settings.
• Proven ability to lead change and establish preventative maintenance.
• Strong leadership across multiple shifts with coaching skills.
• Experience with CMMS and data-driven maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and prioritise maintenance across site to minimise downtime.
• Lead and develop a multi-shift maintenance team with coaching.
• Drive transition from reactive to preventative maintenance, roll out CMMS.
• Manage maintenance budgets, CAPEX docs and monthly reporting.
• Coordinate external contractors to meet site standards and uptime targets.
