Job summary

Hoban is recruiting a seasoned Asset Engineer to lead lifecycle planning and renewal priorities for a national university property portfolio in Melbourne. You will drive frameworks, assessments and investment strategies across buildings, utilities and critical systems.

You will deliver strategic guidance, data-driven analyses and governance across a dispersed portfolio, communicating with senior leadership and external partners.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or related field.
• Experience in asset management, facilities engineering or infrastructure planning.
• Experience working across a large, complex or geographically dispersed property portfolio.
• Ability to translate asset, operational, financial and risk data into strategic recommendations.

About You

You will bring strong asset-management or engineering experience, supported by technical, analytical and stakeholder-management skills.

• A degree in Engineering, Asset Management, Infrastructure Management, Building Services or a related discipline.
• Experience in asset management, facilities engineering, infrastructure planning or building services.
• Experience working across a large, complex or geographically dispersed property portfolio.
• Demonstrated experience developing asset lifecycle strategies, renewal programs and infrastructure investment plans.
• Strong knowledge of risk-based maintenance, engineering governance and statutory compliance.
• The ability to translate asset, operational, financial and risk data into strategic recommendations.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders.
