Orica Helidon is hiring Assembly Workers to join their manufacturing team. Orica provides full training and ongoing support, with excellent career opportunities.

The role operates on a rotating 12-hour roster (7 shifts over 14 days, day and night) and requires a high level of attention to detail and a reliable work history. Candidates must be physically fit, able to pass a medical, and willing to undergo drug and alcohol testing.

Looking for a secure, well-paid role with a global employer? Orica Helidon is hiring Assembly Workers to join their manufacturing team. Orica provide full training, ongoing support and excellent career opportunities.

What do we need from you?

• Bereliable and show respect towards your team and workplace
• Bring a positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Have strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
• Be willing to learn and undergo on-the-job training
• Reliable work history (explain any gaps in your resume)
• Physically fit – must pass an intensive medical assessment (includes treadmill)
• Able to work 12-hour rotating roster (7 shifts over 14 days, day and night shifts)
• Willing to undergo Drug & alcohol testing (including random testing)
• High-level Police Check (Explosives Licence required)
• Have a reliable vehicle and a current driver's licence.

Rotating Roster - what does it look like?

• 7 shifts over 14 days (8am-8pm and 8pm-8am)
• Combination of day and night shifts
• Work every other weekend
• Fixed 28 day roster – no changes
• 2 x 15-min + 2 x 25-min paid breaks per shift.
• First 2 weeks training 7:30am - 3:30pm

Hourly Rate

• $47.67 per hour (flat rate) + superannuation, paid fortnightly.

PLEASE NOTE:You must have the legal right to work in Australia to be considered for this role. You must alsobe willing to participate in random drug and alcohol testing and must provide a current resume with two recent contactable work references.
