Job summary

Hatrix Recruitment is seeking an Assembly Worker for a family-owned manufacturer producing high-quality aluminium and steel transport equipment. This hands-on role involves building tray bodies and components in a safe, team-focused environment with a strong focus on quality and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience in aluminium fabrication, tray building or similar assembly work.
• Experience in motor vehicle or automotive accessory industry preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret job cards, sheets and measurements.
• Competent use and care of hand and power tools.
• Good numeracy and literacy with high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assemble aluminium and galvanised steel trays and accessories, including custom builds, following job cards, processes, and time targets.
• Complete quality checks and paperwork to ensure all trays meet specifications and quality standards.
• Build tray components ahead of schedule to keep production running smoothly.
• Cut and prepare aluminium materials accurately to prevent production delays.
• Keep the workshop clean, organised, and ready for client visits.
• Follow all safety procedures, wear PPE, and report hazards or incidents.
• Work well with the team, follow instructions, act professionally, and support continuous improvement.
