Job summary

G.James Group in Woodridge is seeking an experienced Assembler to join our aluminium windows and doors team. Full training provided for assembling and fabricating aluminium products for residential and commercial projects.

You will read production plans, handle materials safely, and contribute to quality workmanship. This is a full-time permanent role with ongoing opportunities and a supportive, family-owned culture.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in aluminium fabrication is advantageous.
• Physically fit with experience in manual handling.
• Able to read detailed production documentation and plans.
• Willing to learn new skills and follow direction.
• Strong communication skills; work safely and accurately to get the job done.

Our Woodridge Windows & Doors branch delivers expert sales, fabrication, and installation of aluminium windows and doors for both residential and commercial projects. We're seeking an experienced Assembler to join our skilled and dynamic team.

The Role

Full training provided for duties including assembling and fabricating aluminium windows, doors, and screens. Previous experience in commercial fabrication, aluminium assembly, glazing, glass handling, or operating saws and power tools will be highly regarded.

The Applicant

• Previous experience as a commercial assembler or in aluminium fabrication is advantageous
• Physically fit with experience in manual handling
• Punctual, reliable, with a current driver's licence and own transport
• Willing to learn new skills and follow direction
• Able to read detailed production documentation and plans
• Strong communication skills, able to work safely and accurately to get the job done
