Qualifications

• WWCC or ability to obtain one prior to commencement
• First Aid certification desirable or obtainable on commencement

• Reliability, punctuality and a professional approach to the role
• Ability to follow instructions and take feedback from senior educators
• Understanding of child protection principles and mandatory reporting

Responsibilities

• Support qualified educators in planning, implementing and evaluating age-appropriate activities for children
• Assist with daily care routines including meals, hygiene, rest time and transitions
• Build positive relationships with children and families
• Maintain a safe, clean and organised learning environment
• Observe and document children's learning and development
• Participate in team meetings and professional development
• Support service policies and duty of care requirements
• Assist with excursions and community engagement activities
