International Education Services (IES) is focused on the strategic direction and sustainability of international education programs in South Australian government schools.
The team works closely with schools, homestays, overseas families, agents and government agencies to promote international education programs to global markets and deliver positive educational outcomes to international students within a safe and supportive learning environment.
The Principal Events Officer is responsible for providing a specialist lead role in the planning, development, and implementation of International Education Services (IES) local and offshore projects and initiatives.
The Principal Events Officer cultivates a strategic approach to external stakeholder engagement and contributes to maximising the impact of IES activities to support objectives through collaboration with other agencies, non-government organisations and schools on projects that advance policy priorities and outcomes.

Desirable: Relevant tertiary qualifications in event management, communications, marketing and/or engagement.
The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry.
The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN –EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years.

ASO7 $116,089 - $125,490 per annum (1.0 FTE) + superannuation (12%) and leave loading.
