  • Maintain good relationships with clients.

Job description

Our client is an expanding UKAS asbestos consultancy offering various high quality and professional asbestos and environmental services to a mixed portfolio of clients across the UK and through achieving consistent growth, they are actively looking to employ a high caliber and self‑motivated Asbestos Surveyor/Analyst based in and around the Salisbury area. Consideration will be given to applications from Wincester, Basingstoke, Shaftesbury, Andover and the surrounding areas.

Qualifications & Experience

The individual must have attained the P402, P403 and P404 or the equivalent – RSPH qualifications and at the same time must have significant experience working within this role and within the asbestos field.

Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Must be competent in using the Microsoft Office Package.

Must be well versed with the Health & Safety procedures pertaining to asbestos.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carrying out asbestos 4‑stage clearances, smoke, background, leak reassurance, visual, re‑occupation and personal air testing.
  • Carrying out Management, Refurbishment/Demolition surveys on various properties, including commercial and industrial.
  • Monitoring asbestos contractors on site and ensuring that they comply with the Health and Safety procedures with regards to asbestos.
  • Collating and producing asbestos reports as and when required.
  • Establishing and maintaining a good working relationship with the company’s mixed portfolio of clients.
