Job summary

The Melbourne Clinic, situated in Richmond, Victoria, is Australia’s largest private mental health service, offering a range of inpatient and outpatient programs. We are seeking an Art Therapist to join the Day Program and work within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team to provide engaging therapeutic activities.

The role is casual/part-time (0.2 EFT) and involves contributing to program development, quality improvement, and patient-centered care across our services.

Qualifications

• Recognised Allied Health Qualifications or relevant
• Strong knowledge and experience with DBT and ACT modalities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong focus on patient care and customer service
• Strong computer skills and experience in quality improvement

Responsibilities

• Create an inclusive, supportive and learning group environment for patients in creative activities within various programs
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in care planning and management of participants
• Attend relevant multidisciplinary team meetings
• Participate in development and review of programs as necessary
• Contribute to policies development and evaluation as appropriate
• Contribute to quality improvement and research projects
