Job summary

7-Eleven Australia is seeking a Senior Art Director to lead bold, channel-agnostic visual campaigns across OOH, digital, social and content. You will partner with copywriters and production teams to develop concepts, refine visuals, and ensure delivery across channels.

The role requires a strong portfolio of integrated campaigns, collaborative mindset, and ability to manage multiple projects to deadlines. Office hybrid setup with remote flexibility is supported.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a senior art director in an agency environment.
• Strong portfolio of integrated brand campaigns with clear, high-quality craft.
• Able to collaborate effectively with copywriters and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Develops big, channel-agnostic visual ideas for campaigns and leads execution across OOH, digital, social and content.
• Partner with copywriter to develop concepts, scripts and territories.
• Independently create concepts for briefs across the full channel suite.
• Articulates creative rationale grounded in strategic thinking throughout the process.
• Present work to clients and respond to feedback constructively.
• Translate approved concepts into clear briefs for internal design teams and production partners.
• Support delivery of photo and motion shoots with production partners.
• Collaborate with account and production teams to deliver work on time.
• Identify new opportunities for 7-Eleven to appear in culture.
• Participate in creative brainstorms to support idea generation.

Key responsibilities

• Develops big, channel-agnostic visual creative ideas for campaigns and take them through to execution across OOH, digital, social and content
• Partner with copywriter to develop concepts, scripts and campaign platforms and territories
• Independently develop creative concepts for various briefs across the full channel suite
• Articulates creative rationale grounded in strategic thinking throughout the creative process
• Present work to clients, responding to feedback constructively
• Develops an idea clearly through visual references, scamps, mock ups throughout the creative development process
• Translates approved creative concepts into clear, actionable briefs for internal design teams and production partners
• Support delivery of photo and motion shoots, working closely with various production partners
• Work closely with account and production teams to deliver the work
• Proactively finds new, aligned opportunities for 7‑Eleven to actively show up in culture
• Actively participates in creative brainstorms to support idea generation across creative team

Essential

• Proven experience in a senior art director role within an agency environment
• A strong portfolio of integrated brand campaigns that show strong ideas and excellent craft
• Experience working collaboratively in a creative team with copywriter
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work across creative and marketing functions
• Proven experience working with production partners on film and stills
• A collaborative approach and the ability to manage multiple projects to deadline
• Comfortable with scamps as much as refining concepts digitally

Desirable

• Experience working across retail or FMCG
• AWARD School (or similar)
