Job summary

Amentum is seeking an Armaments and Explosive Ordnance Integration Engineer to provide delegated technical authority for EO integration across Defence Maritime vessels. The role ensures compliance with legislation, standards and AEO requirements while supporting shipbuilding milestones and schedules.

The successful candidate will review and certify armaments integration, manage engineering baselines, and mentor developing engineers within the Engineering Services team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechatronics or Mechanical engineering.
• Proven design or design review experience in Armaments and EO systems.
• Experience in Acquisition or Shipbuilding environments.

Responsibilities

• Review and certify EO/armament integration for Defence Maritime vessels.
• Perform design reviews and technical certifications within program timelines.
• Mentor junior engineers within Engineering Services team.
• Identify technical risks and work with System Safety to mitigate hazards.
