Job summary

Komatsu Forklifts Australia is seeking a driven Area Sales Manager to own your territory, develop new business and represent a range of material handling equipment. The role offers a strong commission structure with a car allowance and the autonomy to plan your day while building lasting customer relationships.

You will drive sales of new and used forklifts, hire solutions and ongoing customer business, with support and training to help you succeed.

Qualifications

• Previous sales experience, ideally in forklifts, capital equipment, automotive or mechanical products.
• Strong communication, relationship-building and negotiation skills.
• A proactive, self-motivated approach with the ability to work autonomously.
• Good organisational skills and confidence using CRM systems.
• A willingness to learn, take initiative and actively pursue new business.
• A current driver\'s licence.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities through prospecting, customer visits and relationship building.
• Manage and grow your territory, balancing new business development with existing customer accounts.
