Area Manager – Early Childhood Education & Care (Brisbane South)
REE Education is seeking an experienced and proactive Area Manager to oversee and support our early childhood services across Brisbane South. This role involves both multi-site leadership and the ability to step into centre-level operations when needed to ensure smooth, consistent, and high-quality service delivery.

About the Role
As the Area Manager, you will provide operational, compliance, and cultural leadership across multiple services. You will also step in to support daily centre operations during periods of leadership transition, vacancies, or heightened needs, ensuring each centre remains stable, compliant, and well‑supported.
This role is hands‑on and highly collaborative, with a strong focus on quality improvement, people leadership, and operational consistency.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership, coaching, and support to Centre Directors, leadership teams, and educators.
- Ensure centres meet all regulatory, legislative, and compliance requirements, including A&R preparation.
- Lead and monitor Quality Improvement Plans, policies, procedures, and best‑practice implementation.
- Build strong, positive team culture and support staff retention strategies.
- Assist with recruitment, onboarding, induction, and performance management.
- Support educational programs, curriculum delivery, and room leader development.
- Oversee rosters, staffing arrangements, budgets, and operational processes across centres.
- Respond to parent enquiries, support escalations, and help maintain strong community relationships.
- Work closely with the Approved Provider team to implement organisational priorities.
- Step into daily centre operations when leadership gaps, emergencies, or transition periods occur.
- Ensure smooth, consistent centre functioning through hands‑on support when required.
About You
- Diploma or Bachelor (ECT) qualification in Early Childhood Education & Care.
- Experience as a Centre Director or multi‑site leader.
- Strong understanding of NQF, EYLF, QKLG, A&R processes, and compliance frameworks.
- Confident communicator with strong leadership and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and step into operational roles when required.
- Reliable transport and willingness to travel across the Brisbane South region.
- Current Blue Card, First Aid/CPR, and full working rights in Australia.
