Caulfield Grammar School in Melbourne seeks an Archivist to shape and preserve the living history of the school. You will manage physical and digital archives, curate memorabilia, and support events and teaching programs with archival resources.
The role requires strategic thinking, strong project management, and collaboration with students, staff, alumni and volunteers. With 150-year celebrations ahead, you’ll help capture a landmark chapter in the school’s history.
Caulfield Grammar School is an internationally recognised, independent, co-educational school committed to providing exceptional educational opportunities from Early Learning through to Year 12. With over 3700 students across 5 campuses and our Student Experience Programs in Yarra Junction and Kakadu, Caulfield Grammar passionately strives to deliver innovative specialist educational programs enabling quality learning every day, in every experience, for every learner, for life.
This is a rare opportunity to shape and preserve the living history of the school. We're seeking someone who embraces technology and digital innovation, brings creativity and strong project management skills, and can help tell the story of our community in meaningful and engaging ways.
Success in this role requires strategic thinking and sound judgement; someone who can confidently determine what should be preserved, digitised, and celebrated. The goal is to ensure that in 50 years' time, future generations have access to the moments, stories, achievements and artefacts that truly matter.
More than an archivist, you'll be a storyteller, working closely with students, staff, alumni and the wider school community. You'll attend events, uncover hidden treasures, curate significant memorabilia, and help bring the school's heritage to life. With the school's 150-year celebrations on the horizon, this is an exciting opportunity to play a central role in capturing and showcasing a landmark chapter in its history.
